Hello From the YPSSC!!
The Yarm Prep School Social Committee is made up and run by parent volunteers. Our function is to provide a social network for the whole school community and raise funds for the children and local charities. Every parent/guardian and member of staff is automatically a member of the Committee and is welcome to attend meetings and volunteer at events.
Each year we look to facilitate a varied programme of events to enrich the children’s school experience and to help bring parents together.
We are looking to introduce a regular informal coffee morning and informal evening drinks to give everyone who wants the opportunity to meet fellow parents/guardians from school. Watch this space and the WhatsApp groups for updates.
YPSSC are very proud to announce we now have a location on site where parents and guardians can get and donate PreLoved uniform.

YPSSC presents their annual winter ball, this years theme is ‘Enchanted Forest’- immerse yourselves in the magic and join us for the evening.
Every year a local charity is nominated to be supported by the ball in terms of promotion as well as fund raising by way of auctions and raffles. Last year we raised over £10,000 for our designated charity, NeoAngels.
This year we are supporting Home Start Teesside.
On the night we will be running LIVE AUCTION for some AMAZING prizes- you’ll have to be there to win!

YPSSC engages in activities which foster a beneficial bond between the home and the Yarm Preparatory School by arranging social, cultural and recreational functions.
YPSSC supports the School in advancing the education of its pupils. We achieve this primarily through fundraising for a variety of projects. Such projects may include the development of the resources for use at school or items which will enhance the learning and or experiences of the pupils.
